HOW TO MEASURE AND FIT THE SHOULDER RELIEF GIRTH?
All of our girths measure true to size buckle-end to buckle-end.
For dressage, we suggest a gap of 4 - 6 inches from the bottom of the flap to the end of the girth. That gap can be larger on monoflap jump saddles.
The spacing suggestion does not apply to any saddle that uses a long (AP/Jump) girth.
For the Shoulder Relief Cinch on Western saddles we suggest a gap of approximately 8 inches from the end of the cinch to the rigging.
We currently offer 18 inches through 56 inches in dressage and jump styles. However, we are always expanding our product line and options.
Customer satisfaction is important to us. We offer a 110% refund of the purchase price of your girth (less shipping), if it is returned within 30 days from date of receipt. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
After a few minutes of riding, a saddle will shift forward to the position the girth is pulling it. The Shoulder Relief Girth actually changes the billet line and angle to keep the saddle from being pulled forward.
Currently is it available in black and brown. And we will occasionally have other limited edition colors.
It works on all English saddles!
The outside is top grain English saddle cowhide. The inside is soft calf leather over a padded center.

Yes. We offer a custom contoured sheepskin cover for the Shoulder Relief Girth in the Shop section of the website.
All breeds! Every horse can benefit from the Shoulder Relief Girth.
Then you really need the Shoulder Relief Girth, as the saddle is often more cramped up over the shoulder! However, if you have any question about saddle position on the lumbar, feel free to contact us about your specific horse at email@example.com.
While the Shoulder Relief Girth has influences of an anatomic/contoured girth, as it is anatomically correct for a horse and is contoured for elbow clearance, it is much more. It's design differs from other girths to keep the billet line and saddle behind a horse's shoulders in a very substantial way.
